Inspiration and Perseverance for the New Year

Inspiration and Perseverance for the New Year

Joy Johnson was an extraordinary, ordinary person! Look at this picture. She was 83 when that was taken. It is my new favorite inspiration to move! She started walking, then jogging, then running marathons at the age of 59. She ran 25 New York Marathons the last was run the day before she died in her sleep at the age of 86. Wow, Wow, Wow. (Read more about her here…)

Perseverance furthers. Also read the Michael Ventura Letters at 3 a.m. in the Chronicle this week. It is about perseverance a worthy thing to contemplate for the new year. Happy New Year everyone. May this year of 2014, (the year of the Horse in Chinese astrology) be filled with love and prosperity for you and your family.
